Good morning and welcome to Day Five, the final day of racing for the 2016 Melges 24 World Championship.
The Race Committee intends to start on time today with an initial warning signal at 1030 in Racing Area Alpha. Conditions look favorable for us to get two solid races in today to conclude the event. Unfortunately, yet again, the cruise ship channel is closed, so please plan your transit accordingly.
At the conclusion of racing today, a crane will be made available in addition to the hoist at Miami Yacht Club for haul out on a first come, first served basis. Teams are reminded that the awards ceremony and crowning of champions will take place at Jungle Island at approximately 1700.
Please be diligent in returning your tracker to the OA upon returning to shore this afternoon.
